Get a taste of ‘Hotdogs’ at CCH

By Calyn Rowley

Many of you have been to Christian Campus House’s Hotdog Wednesdays and Pancake Fridays, but does anyone know where or how it got started at Trine?

Dan Higginbotham and Darin King started CCH “Hotdogs” when they heard this event was popular at Central Michigan. Central Michigan would cook hotdogs on Saturday nights and over 500 people would attend.

CCH started pancakes as a spin off from hotdogs. CCH holds Hotdogs nights every Wednesday from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Pancakes on Friday from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.

After a while funds would add up from these weekly events. CCH receives funding from Student Senate and Alumni. Trine Students, Ryan Kikkert, Sawyer Miller, and Ryan Schreiner are the Grill Masters for Hotdogs, and members of CCH take turns making the pancakes.

Wednesday night Hotdogs and Friday night Pancakes are forms of outreach to reach students on campus and is a great social activity.

Venture on over to CCH for Hotdogs and Pancakes and experience the deliciousness for yourself!
