Not the Same Taylor Swift We All Know

On Taylor Swift’s new album, she isn’t just calling out bad boyfriends, or pining for the good ones that got away. She is not pointing the finger at herself, admitting that she likes the kinds of guys who jerk her around, or refuse to commit to her. Taylor Swift’s new album called “Red” is not the same old Taylor Swift we all knew. This time around she has stepped away from her country roots to take on a more rock and pop sound.

Taylor Swift is now with some new and popular producers. Which I believe was a good move for Swift. She has worked with a super tight group of writers and producers on her first three albums (half of “Red” is produced by her longtime producer Nathan Chapman).

A few songs you should check out include:

“I Knew You Were Trouble” which is an adventurous track with Swift taking the bull by the horns, she sounds very aggressive with an electronic beat.

“The Last Time” Taylor Swift takes a back seat to Snow Patrol lead singer Gary Lightbody. The heavy vocals are beautifully sang over a kind of haunting beat.

“Red” this song paints a picture of a failed relationship with vivid colors. It’s a country tune, but with a kick.
